Welcome to 57 Ranger Road

Home

You will see (in the gallery) that under the building there are garages for three cars, and access is up a steep drive from Ranger Road. The first floor flat is accessed through a security gate at the right on the top of the drive, and you walk up steps through the garden, bounded by a dry-stone wall, to reach the bridge at first floor level. Above you is the sundeck, and the rear garden has been landscaped with an interesting range of plants and shrubs.

Walking over the bridge you come to the split level front door, which has an external wrought iron security gate. Entering through the front door, you come into the main open plan living area. To your right and in front of you are storage cupboards, and in front of you to your left is the bar counter and beyond that the main living room.

On the other side of the bar counter, which has six bar stools, is the kitchen. As well as a full-height larder, there are plenty of storage cupboards and drawers, and a wine rack. There is an electric hob, electric oven, extract fan, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Crockery and cutlery for six is provided, and most of the kitchen utensils you are likely to need, as well as an electric kettle, toaster, and coffee percolator.

There is underfloor electric heating in the main living area, and TV with DSTV service, and a DVD player. There are books in the bookcase, and each visitor is invited to leave a book that they have enjoyed reading. The living room opens through french windows onto a patio with views over the town and bay, and there is a teak table and six chairs on the patio.

The master bedroom has a large picture window overlooking the bay, and an ensuite bathroom. There is a second bathroom with a walk-in shower, and next to this is the second bedroom with twin beds. There is a sofa bed in the lounge, so the flat can sleep six. Linen and towels are provided.

There is a wealth of information in the flat about local sight seeing and activities, and the owner of the ground floor flat is the fount of all knowledge on everything from local restaurants to the latest cricket scores.
